Jeroen van de Wiel
In vitro reaction networks for molecular information processing
About me
Jeroen van de Wiel obtained his master’s degree in Molecular Life Sciences in 2019 from Radboud University, which is the same year he started as a PhD student in the Huck group. Be builds on his previous work as a master student, which involved the immobilization of proteases on hydrogel beads. Currently, he works on incorporating them in examples of enzymatic computing and information processing. Moreover he thoroughly enjoys the technical aspect of the project, regarding reactor design, microfluidics and all kinds of flow chemistry. Outside of work, you’ll find him to be an enthusiastic cook, who can hardly say no to board games, climbing or social gatherings in general.
