Miglė Jakštaitė
In vitro reaction networks for molecular information processing
About me
Miglė Jakštaitė obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2017 at Vilnius University in her homeland Lithuania. During her bachelor studies she spent 4 great months doing an internship at Malmö University, Sweden. After this, Miglė decided to move to the Netherlands and continue her education at Radboud University, where she graduated with a Master’s degree in Chemistry in 2019. The majority of her study time she spent as an intern in the Huck group while learning more about enzymatic chemical reaction networks. In the same year she re-joined the Huck group as a PhD student and currently is studying enzymatic synthesis using immobilised enzymes into hydrogel beads. In her spare time Miglė is teaching people the correct pronunciation of her name as well as is enjoying cooking, hiking, watching basketball and learning new languages.
