About me
Amit obtained his BSc and MSc in Molecular Biology from Ben-Gurion University and the Weizmann Institute of Science, respectively, with hands-on experience in immunology, microbiology, biophysics and genetics. He completed his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Glasgow, developing Assembly Theory and using it to interrogate selection and evolution processes in combinatorial chemical and biological systems. Continuing his focus on studying the emergence of life, Amit examines the prospects of inducing selection in the formose system through dynamic and automated analytical control.
