Research labs
In the Huck lab, we can make use of multiple laboratories that are very diverse in scope and technologies available mirroring the multidisciplinarity of the group.
Information & Safety Manual for Cluster for Molecular Chemistry can be found here.
Chemistry Lab I
The Chemistry Lab I is a state of the art research space containing 10 fume hoods. It is mainly used for chemical synthesis and flow experiments.
Device Lab
Fully equipped lab for synthetic biology, testing milli/microfluidics devises using several neMESYS pumps setups, high speed cameras, microscopes, and on-line spectrophotometers.
Chemistry Lab II
The Chemistry Lab II is used for performing synthesis in 4 fume hoods, a PDMS workstation, microfluidic setup including microscope, high speed camera and neMESYS and Harvard pumps.
Analytical Lab
Equipped with two UHPLCs, plate readers, and workspace for basic biochemistry experiments.
Laser Lab
The laser lab is equipped with two fluorescence microscopes, a spinning disk confocal microscope, and multiple droplet-based microfluidic setups for fluorescence-based droplet detection and sorting.
Single-cell Lab
The single-cell lab has state-of-the-art equipment for single-cell omics experiments. The lab comprises: a microfluidic setup for single-cell droplet encapsulation, RNAse free benches for library preparation, a PCR machine, and all the material for library preparation.
Wet Lab
The wet lab is a diverse laboratory with ample bench spaces for biological experiments, two flow cytometry setups, and multiple setups for protein/RNA gels.
Cell Culture Lab
The cell culture lab is equipped with 8 fume hoods, 4 incubators and of all the material needed for cell culture, microscope, cell counter and small laboratory devices.
