Cristina Lía Fernández Regueiro
In vitro reaction networks for molecular information processing
About me
Lia grew up in a small village in the north-west of Spain. She graduated in Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In 2016 she obtained a double Master in Physics of Soft Matter (University Paris 7, France) and Complex Materials (University of A Coruña, Spain). During her masters, she carried out her internship in Sabic, a world-wide company with a site in Bergen on Zoom (NL) where she studied the development and characterization of functionalized polymers.
In February 2017, she started her PhD in the Huck Group investigating chemical information processing in enzymatic reaction networks. Outside of the lab Lia enjoys painting, taking care of her plants, reading and eating with friends.
