About me
Andrei Sakai graduated in Chemistry at the Federal University of São Paulo in Brazil. He joined the master’s program of Chemical Biology in the same university (Dr. Luciano Caseli, Hybrid Metarials Laboratory) to investigate the interactions of monoclonal antibodies with cell membrane models. At the end of his master’s, he had an internship at the National Institute for Material Science (NIMS/MANA) under the supervision of Dr. Katsuhiko Ariga (The Tokyo University). Currently, he is interested in studying minimal genomes for the construction of the synthetic cell. Besides the scientific pursuit, Andrei enjoys photography and travelling.
